So like, wow! It's been a while eh? I know I said I would be better about this blogging thing but it's harder than I thought it would be. LOL I don't know how many times I have sat here and started to write and then never finish. I guess all I can do is try again!

So anyway, I'm sure those of you who are scrappers know who LizzyK is but if not, she was the winner of CK's scrapbooker of the year contest back in '08. (at least I think it was 2008) Ya so, she has this awesome blog that I love to read and she and her hub-de-dubs came up with a fun idea to have everyone take a picture of what they were doing at 7-8-9 @ 10:11:12. Ya know, since it's kind of a once in a lifetime thing.

Well I missed out taking my picture in the am but Liz said it could be in the pm no biggie. So I went ahead and did it. I got my coffee pot all set up and took my picture. (yes, I drink the full on caffeinated stuff that late at night. Don't judge.) I was all excited to be a part of something so fun only to look at the date/time stamp on my camera to find that it is WAY off!! It said 9:22 pm. Hello!?!? Not even close. I mean I can understand if it was set to Hawaii time or something but not even the minutes were right! What the...?!? Oh well! Guess folks will just have to take my word for it. :/

So with out further blathering...

Don't ya just love that coffee mug? Yup it's my fave!

Guess I should throw in some cute kiddo action. It's been so long since you've seen him you may not recognize him! lol

Big Shot fun!!

At the SU! Seattle regional conference they demo'd the coolest project using the Big Shot. I just knew that this would make a great kids class or even an adult class really! It's a way to make your own iron on patches using the SU! Beautiful Butterflies die. Well a friend of mine has a little girl who is having a birthday party this Saturday and my friend was trying to come up with something to do to entertain 4 little girls. So I suggested a craft day and we are going to try out this project and a few others.

So I decided to do a test run and it worked perfectly! I'm so happy with it!! The girls can pick the fabric and arrange the butterflies whatever way they want. I really hope they like it!

Hey folks!! I'm sure this is already out there somewhere in the blogosphere(sp?) so I won't attempt to take credit or anything. I just discovered this the other day when I was trying to do a card sketch that required using brackets. I don't have any in my stash and while looking at my top note die a light bulb went off! So here is what I ended up doing. Using my Big Shot (that I won from LizzyK) and my SU! Top Note Die, I took two pieces of Old Olive card stock cut to 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 and ran then through like they were one sheet of paper. You can cu tit in half after but for me that was just an extra step. That's really up to you. ;) Then remove the negative pieces and slide the two sides out. (see photo #4) How far you slide it will depend on how thick you want your brackets. Then run that baby through the big shot again and VIOLA!! Isn't that so cool? They kinda look like little fancy mustaches! lol Cute! Here is a card I made using them. I also used the same technique in my last post. I really think these would be great for using in scrapbooking too. All product SU! CS: Whisper White, Old Olive, Pale Plum(?)

For My birthday yesterday one of my gifts was to take a family photo where my hubby was not grimacing. He just doesn't care for having his photo taken. That kinda bites when you are a person who love to take photos!! lol I think these turned out pretty well and may just be in the Christmas card. My monthly Stampin' up! card swap over on Split Coast Stampers is due. This months theme was either Mother's Day or Graduation. I don't have any SU! stamps for either of those occasions. Ugh!! So I sorta kinda fudged it a little. This is as close as I could get:

I used Basic Black and Kraft (my go to color) cardstock with Silver Encore ink. I think it turned out pretty great! I hope those that get one like it.

Today over at AMR we had quite the scare. If you haven't heard by now, the south is being ravaged by tornadoes. Many of our members live in the path of where these storms were hitting. Well a F4 tornado (and a few smaller ones) hit the home town of our Scrap Chat Hour hostess Abby. She had posted that the storm was moving their way and that they were taking cover. After a while many of the girls in that general area popped on the board to say they were okay but after repeated requests for an update Abby hadn't answered. We were all very worried. Finally late this evening one of the gals was able to get e phone call through. Abby and her family are fine but without power. I've never felt like hugging my computer before today. I actually started crying when we got the word. I tell you about this because I want you to know what it is really like on the AMR message board. We are a family there. We care about one another. I don't think I would be as happy anywhere else on the net. Like any family, the more the merrier. Come on over and check out AMR. :)

Online that is! One of the best things about All Moments Remembered is that it's not just a message board but also a online store! Stacey stocks a ton of great stuff. My favorite thing in the store right now is this really cool Creative Imaginations Narratives Easel Album . It is actually designed by Karen Russell who is like my most favorite photographer. I want to take one of her online photog classes so bad but I am a slow typer and have yet to secure a spot. They sell out with in minutes! I am on the waiting list now though so there is hope for the future!! This is that way cute album I was talking about! Isn't it awesome?!? It even has a little "kickstand" built into the back for those of us that never know how to display mini albums. Ingenious! So if you are in the mood to do some scrappy shopping check out Stacey's store! Sometimes having challenges is a good thing!

Really!! All Moments Remembered has some of the best challenges around. In fact there is a whole forum with a team of gals dedicated to coming up with new challenges for us. So far I have only had the time to do three but out of those three I won 2! Pretty sweet eh? They were both color challenges.

This one we had to use Red White and Blue but not with a 4th of July theme. (I've shared this one before)

This was this weeks. We had to use Teal, Brown, White and either Moss or Celery.

I really love all the layouts I have done for these challenges. If not for the challenge though I probably would have never gotten off my duff and got them done! It's great that these two won the challenge but all in all I just feel great that I have a couple more layouts to add to my ever growing scrapbook. Yet another one of the things I love about AMR. We encourage each other to get our stories told. No matter what your scrappy style you always feel welcome at AMR! I really think ya'll should come on over and have some fun!

Okay so if you know me at all, you know that the place you can always find me hanging out on the web is All Moments Remembered. It really is the nicest and most encouraging message board around. One of the the thing I live the most is the swapping. Cards, ATCs, stamped images... the list goes on! We have such fun doing it to. There is actually a whole forum dedicated just to swapping! Talk about awesome. The best thing is that AMR is still small enough that you 'know' everyone you are swapping with. This month Melonscraps hosted a Easter card swap. All over the net I have been seeing different ways that people have been using paint chip samples in there scrapbooks. Well I thought why not on a card?!? (Don't look if you want to be surprised girls!!) I did these in a few different colors (some are not pictured) and since I know the gals I sent them to I was able to make sure a few of them got certain colors. Whaddaya think? I love these babies! Yes, I know I shouldn't steal the chip samples! The whole time I was in Home Depot the theme to Mission Impossible was running through my head. I kept thinking that at any moment security was going to bum rush me. It was kinda stressful and I'm sure the extra grey hairs is enough punishment for my crime! We AMR gals are always looking for new people to swap with! Come on over and get registered on the message board. Just be sure to put "scrapbooking" in the profile area. Stacey works really hard to keep us safe from spammers and yucky people so it's the least we can do to help her know the good folks! Tomorrow I will tell you about the challenge area on the message board and show you a couple of winning layouts I have done!! Here's a cute kid lovin' his Not So Hot Chocolate from Dutch Bros Coffee. He calls it coffee and as soon as we pull up to the window he starts yelling, "I need ice cream on my straw... please!!". I think it's so funny that he calls the whip cream ice cream. lol I think the second photo really says it all. lol

WooHooooo!!! I finally scrapped again! Over at All Moments Remembered they have started doing daily layout challenges Monday-Friday. Then on Saturday it's a card challenge. So far I have only done the card challenge a few times but in the last 24 hours I completed TWO layouts for challenges! I'm so excited to finally get back on the scrappin' wagon! I hope I can keep it up and at least do 3-4 challenges a week.

Friday Fill-in

I hoping doing these things will help jump start my blogging. You can find the Friday fill-in here. I found this though Angie's blogs and I thought it sounded fun! Turns out it's harder than I thought. lol And...here we go! 1. Why do we have to deal with yucky stuff? 2. Wii and water are now habits. 3. I have way too much to do. 4. I had never heard the phrase "Pokey Dokey!" and it cracks me up! 5. Procrastinating the way I always do. 6. How was I to know that everything would fall apart at the last minute preventing me from getting all the things done that I needed to do. 7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to the online crop at All Moments Remembered, tomorrow my plans include Wii with the girls and Sunday, I want to go to church. It's been way too long! I should have lots to share with you soon craft wise. There is a cpor tonight over at AMR and that always gets me going. Here a couple of recent card though: This one was for a white space challenge over at AMR. I used all SU! product. This one was also a challenge over at AMR. It was to use two pattern papers with different colors but the same pattern. I used my Raspberry Tart DSP. I saw this design over on Di's blog and just had to try it. Hers is way better though! lol Normally at this point in the show I would say lo long and show a cute kid pic but this time I'm going to show a few pics of my very handsome nephew. He is actually making this guitar himself. I cherish these photos since it will be a really long time before I get to see him again. I miss him terribly.

So I really am trying to get on top of things over here. It's amazing that I used to be so organized. That time in my life seems so long ago now. I am doing a bit better though! lol

I haven't done a whole lot in the last few weeks because I was down in Sacramento dealing with some family issues. While down there I did get to go to a meeting with my SU! upline! That was very exciting. I ended up getting an award for being the top seller in the group! I was so shocked! My mom was so excited she almost cried. lol It was so fun to get to meet all of my demo sistas. I also helped my mom design a couple of cards for her class. It was tons of fun working with her. I didn't take any photos of them though! Ugh!

I did take a photo of a card I made last night. It was for the card challenge of at AMR. The challenge was to use green in your card. Here's mine:

Just a simple 4x4 note card. I used all SU! product on this one including my new Top Note die and Sizzix Texture Plates. I think I'm really gonna like those babies! This card was so stinkin' easy to put together. I thinking about making it a "no stamp" class.

Howdy Ya'll!! So far my new years resolutions are in the toilet! So today I have decided that it's never too late to start over. Right? So I am going to try and post more often. :) It seems like I have had a ton of things going on. In reality I just need to stop being so lazy nd get my rear in gear. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about! lol So here's a little something to catch you up to speed.

I tried the project 365 thing. It was just too much for me to try and get a great photo, process and post it on flicker each day. It wasn't going to happen and I'm not a fan of trying to force things. Here are a few of the photos I did take. (none are all that fabulous. ugh!)

I've also done a few creative things. My AMR buddy Angie had a challenge to alter or make a notebook to keep track of all the projects we complete this year. I kinda cheated and altered a MM spiral notebook. So for I'm doing pretty good at keeping track of things in this.

Back in January AMR had a huge 1 year anniversary crop. It spanned 3 days and I actually stayed up for the whole thing! lol That's right folks I was up for 3 days straight! Crazy I know! LOL It was the best time though. This Friday AMR is having another crop. It's a great time and so go sign up to be a message board member and join in the fun! These are a few of the layouts I got done for the January crop challenges.

Crazy for cupcakes and PB&Js

I finally got around to taking a photo of a card I did for a challenge and swap on Split Coast Stampers. The challenge was to make a card using the color blocking technique. It took a bit of doing but I think it turned out alright! I made it even harder for myself by using Cameo Coral a color I'm not very fond of to say the least. In order to make it okay in my mind I paired it with one of my faves Old Olive. I had to use my Stampin' Pastels to color in the image using my Blender Pens. I love those pens and use them all the time.

So I have recieved a few different blog awards from people. Melonscraps, Melegs and Craftyscraper have all given me different ones. While I appreciate them I have no idea how to add those things to my blog! lol Someday when Melonscraps comes over I will have to have a note pad at the ready while she shows me all the ins and outs of blogger. Like how she showed me the way to make peoples names into links. I know it's easy but I have totally forgotten! :( So thanks gals!! I wil try to figure it out soon.

On to the next thing. Jingle (look at that!! I remembered!!) posted some random photos today and asked others to do the same. Here is mine.

These are the DVDs that just stay on top of the entertainment canter they are watched so often. I finally just gave up putting them in the locked cabinet. I'm such a lazy mom! lol So what movies are out at your place?

Finally Stacey over at All Moments Remembered has a ton of new product in the store. I was browsing through the store and this paper totally caught me! It is totally my fave colors!! These are my happy colors. While I can't wear yellow because it makes me look ill, I love to surround myself with it. In fact my scrap room walls are yellow and green!

Few Layout and some big news!!

Let's just get this out of the way first. No I am not preggers. *sigh* I can only wish of that front right now. I do want to let you all know that I have signed up to be a Stampin' Up! demo!!! I'm so excited! My first open house is going to be on Sunday, Oct. 26th from 1-4pm. I am going to do a few make-n-takes and have a small door prize. Wish me luck! On to the Layouts! This one is a LO that I started while over at Christina's (inara). We we're celebrating her birthday by cropping the night away. Erica (melegs) was kind enough to sketch this one out for me. She is a awesome scrapper and can design a page in a heartbeat! Well compared to me at least. I mean heck I will sometimes work on the same LO for months! lol Kinda like this one! lol I didn't get it finished that night cuz chatting the night away is what are crops really about. Right?!? This one was for a challenge at the AMR crop to use only the colors that are in your photo. I know some may think it's plain but I really like it! This was also for a AMR challenge. We had to lift a LO by heather about our faves. Stacy @ AMR challenged us to make a wall hanging using our scrap supplies. I made a sign for my scraproom using some of my favorite Everyday Tango pp. Cute holder eh? These are a couple of cards that my mom and I put together for her card club while I was down visiting a couple weeks ago. I like one of them so much that it will be a make-n-take at my open house! you'll have to stop by to see which one! :) The designs on these are cases from the SU! fall/winter catty. We changed it up a bit but not much.

Yes I did cut up the books dust cover but it was a extra one. This will eventually be a 2 page layout. I have the pics from the HP movie I saw with the boy too. Gosh I miss those kids! We haven't had the money to get them up here to visit this year. Totally bummed about that.

Just finished this one and I love it! This is the second LO of our day at the county fair. I used seven pics and 47 brads!!! lol I wanted the brads to kinda look like the lights all over the carnival. I actually mounted the photos (totally eyeballed it) put the brads on, then cut around the whole group of photos and remounted it. I didn't want all those brad prongs catching on things.

I'm trying to be more open to journaling on pages even though I HATE my writing. It reads:

We had a great time at the Clark Co. fair. We rode to the fairgrounds on the city bus. Simon was so exited to be on his first bus ride! Once we got there and he saw the carnival rides, he was over the moon! We all rode the spinning bears, then Simon and Peter went on the swings. I was afraid to let him go on the cars and boat, but he did great!

While I was working on this Peter and Simon were playing in Simons' room. When I went in to show Peter the LO this is what I found. LOL

Simon said they were building a big birdie house. I think Peter look ridiculous and cute all at the same time! I love my guys!

Gettin' scrappy with it! (long post!)

I'm tellin' ya I think I've scrapped more in the last month than I did in all of last year!!! Being over on the All Moments Remembered message board has truly inspired me. I love all the challenges an crops. We really are a close community. So friendly and uplifting. Aug 9th was the online crop. We had until Wednesday to complete all the challenges and while I didn't get them all done, I did pretty good. I even completed the ones I didn't get to with in the time limit. This first one is not from the crop but from a weekly AMR challenge. IT was to do a monochromanic LO. I really love the way it turned out. I actually added a journaling card to it in that blank spot on the left side. I just forgot to take a updated picture.

These cards are from the AMR crop. We had to make a Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Winter card.

This crop challenge was pretty hard for me. In actuality I don't like this LO right now. I'm going to change a couple of things and then I hope it will be better. I think mostly it's the title that is just buggin' me.

This challenge was to use stitching on a LO or card. Most of us took the easy route but Melonscraps really rocked it. Check it out on her blog!

Ugh! The iris folding challenge! I had the hardest time getting a proper sized template for this thing! Once that was taken care of it came together pretty easily. I might try it again if I ever feel the need to fold paper for hours on end! lol

This challenge I loved!! I didn't quite make it in under the time limit but that was okay with me because I love this LO! We could only use two different sheets of coordinating pp and card stock. The only exception was the title. The whole thing had to be tilted and it had to have at least a paragraph of journaling. (mine is under the photo. It's a bit personal.)

This one bites too but I did it with 15 minutes until time was up! LOL We had to either make a acrylic album (Melonscraps was the only one to do that) or use a acrylic tag on a LO or card. It was actually really easy and I'm sure I will try it again some time.

Can you keep a secret? The photo in this LO is of my Grammie at her 75th b-day party. I was supposed to do a album with the pics and still haven't finished it. She's 80 now! Doh! I want to try and complete it for her for Christmas but I just have such a hard time scrapping that way!

This was for Chris' challenge. We had to do a interpretive design. I didn't do the challenge right but I still like the LO! It is 8 1/2 X 11 for my "All about me" album. Even thought I don't have a actual album that size yet! LOL

This is definitely one of my favorite LOs from the crop. Jessica wanted up to use memorabilia (she used some fancy word for it.) on the LO. I used a fan that we got at the Clark Co. fair the week before. I just ripped the stick off of it and used my StazOn to die it brown. Kinda did this one for my mom too since she is a new SU! demo and all the product on this page is SU!.

This next one is not from the crop but again one of the weekly challenges. We had to use Red and green but not on a Christmas LO. I think it turned out pretty dog gone good!

I have a few new scrappy projects to share!

This is a little mini album I did for my hubby. He has been asking for something like this for a while so I made it for his birthday on the 25th. It only took me about an hour and that was with my little 'helper'.

LO I did on Saturday. I really enjoyed making this one. It challenged me because the epoxy stickers I was trying to use just wouldn't stick. I had to figure it out since I really wanted to go with the design in my head. It ended up working out but not before I sent out a plea for help over on the All Moments Remebered message board. Gosh I love those gals!

And a cute picture just because! We went to the Clark County Fair yesterday (7 hours! Phew!) Simon was introducing himself to the ducks. He kept say "Hi! I Shimon! I two!" over and over again. I think he was dissapointed that they didn't say anything back. lol

The good news is now I have my own little scrap space! The master bedroom in our apartment has two closets and one is a fairly large walk-in. As soon as we saw it the hubs asked if I wanted it for a craft room. I thought he was joking but when we moved in he asked what color paint I wanted! I'm so stoked! I haven't done too much yet since I'm still trying to get things organized. (I think we all know how long THAT can take! lol) My good friend Marilyn is going to come over to try and whip me into shape. She also just moved and got her scrap space all set up in a matter of hours so I'm hoping she can help!

Last night I got to go out to dinner and Karaoke with some pals from my mom's group. I sang Only in my Dream by Debbie Gibson and If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys. I'll never be on American Idol but I'm never the worst person in the bar and that's all that matters to me! lol

I finished another LO that I'm pretty proud of. I think becoming a member of the All Moments Remembered message board and cropping with Marilyn (melonscraps), Christina (inara) and Laura (tigardlilly) has really made me become a better scrapper. I'm not afraid to try new things and go with my own ideas anymore! Thanks gals! I have more LOs floating in my head right now than I ever have! I think I should start a sketch book so I don't forget about them. Yet another thing to add on the "to do" list. That list is way long people! LOL

I don't know why I find it so hard to keep my blog updated. It's not like it's really hard or something. Either way I'm sorry!

I actually completed a layout last week! I love it! It's the of the first layouts I have ever done that is totally my own design. Most of the time I scraplift at least some portion of my layouts and the others that were my own design I didn't love. This one I sooooo love!

I think this layout best represents my style. I don't know what this style is... but it's mine! ;)

I just spent Saturday night with some great scrappy chicks! Like always I didn't get much done. I did get a good start on a layout that I'm hoping to finish tonight. We shall see!

Dilemma and new visitors!!

So I have a dilemma. Years ago my family threw a 70th birthday party for my Grammie. Our friend took photos for us and I was supposed to make a scrapbook of them. Well fast forward 5 years later and I still have the photos. I did do some pages but they are really bad. Here are a couple of the not too bad ones. Never mind! I just went to upload them and realized they are all terrible! So I am thinking about stating over. Do you think I should even bother? I mean it's been almost 5 years! :sigh: I think I will but not do it in 12x12 this time. Maybe on a smaller scale I can do a better job? Okay, okay, I'll share one so you can see how bad they are

Sorry the photos are so bad. It was late when I took them. Check out the use of the deco scissors!!! LOL Too funny! So a I have new visitors this week! Flat Marcia and Flat Kim are her to see the Portland metro area. Can't wait to take them down to the tulip fields!

I sent Flat Cini off last week but no word if she got there yet? We had a pretty good time. She didn't get to do anything big but she was very helpful when it came to picking out scrapping supplies! lol

Sping has sprung!!

It was such a beautiful day today!! I so can't wait for the sun to make a lasting appearance. I was supposed to go to the Japanese Gardens over in Portland today for a photo shoot but couldn't get a sitter. I was so bummed. It's not very often that you a sunny day when the garden is in bloom. Oh well maybe some other time. It's not like the place is going anywhere! I ended up pulling over on the side of the road to get this one.

People were looking at me like I was crazy but that's nothing new.

Today we went to a friends birthday party. Owen turned 2 today! Happy birthday Owen!!! I made a card and the bad blogger that I am forgot to take a picture. I snapped a quick picture of the matching bag at the party. (bad form?)

I thought it turned out pretty good for the 5 minutes I took to make it. If I had more time I would have covered a chipboard 2 and put that on there too. The card used the same paper but had stars in matching colors on it also. Next time I will remember the picture! LOL

This last week I had a visitor by the name of Flat Cini. She has been spending time here with the family but is now on her way to the east coast. Can't wait to see who shows up next! This is Flat Cini at a crop with me. We had a great time!

This photo of Simon has a bit of a funny story. On Tuesday my mom's group had a little egg hunt play date for the kiddos. I'm basically the unofficial photographer for the group. So I had my camera out and was taking a couple of shots, when Simon notices me from across the room. He totally made a B-line for me so I would take his picture. All the other moms were like, "Wow, He knows his job!" LOL It was so funny! Such a cute kid though. How could I resist?

So I got this idea from the ever most talented Jocsie (OhScrap!). She sent a flat version of herself to one of the CKMBers that was going to CKC so she could "be there" too. Such a fun idea! So a few of us on the CKMB decided to make flat versions of ourselves and send them to each other. While we have each flat CKMBer we take er with us through out our days, maybe even doing something special with her. Then at the end of the week we mail her on to the next person and email and pics with a blurb of what we did to the real CKMBer that the flat one belongs to. We did something similar to this in the 4th grade. We had to mail a stuffed animal to someone in a different state. Then once the person sent it back, we had to write a report from the animals perspective. I never did do this assignment so I almost flunked! I wonder if that teacher is still there? I may take my finished mini album to her for grading! LOL

Just a little nuts.....

Okay so I'm finally getting around to posting about me first CKC experience! I wish I could say that it was the best weekend ever but my crazy self got in the way of a totally good time. So Friday I was supposed to meet up with a few of the gals from the CKMB for lunch. All that morning I kept trying to get ready to go only to end up having panic attacks. I just couldn't go. Finally the hubs came home from work and forced me to get ready, then actually drove me down there. I have such a good hubby. He knew that I would be soooo upset if I didn't go. Once I got there and saw a few of the gals that I already know, I was fine! I know crazy right?!? Oh well that's me.

So my first night I TA'd for 2 classes. The first one... Yuck. I would not suggest anyone take it. The paper is not at all the kind of thing I would ever want to work with and the LO was just plain ugly. Just a hint as to what class it was... It's one of the newer kit companies. The second class I totally lucked out on! I got to TA the scrapbookpictures.com class. The teaching style of the class... not that great, but still a lot of great info. I didn't even know about this company. They showed how to do a indoor photo shoot and shared all the new things that their company is going to be rolling out in April. Very exciting stuff for a photog/scrapper like me.

On Saturday I was up bright and early. I stopped at Dutch Bros (only the best coffee ever!) on the way. I know, I know. There is a Starbies in the convention center but it's just not the same! Anyway, My first class ended up being with the same company that I'd TA'd for the night before. I was a bit bummed. The papers were again yucky and I didn't learn any techniques at all. The second class was also with a kit company but at least this time it was a really cute kit with great paper. The class was almost empty. I think if the instructor would put a photo on CKs website it would sell out quickly. Let's see if I can figure out how to post a pic of it

Anyway it's a great class called Love This Face. Take it if you can.

Th vendor fair was a bit overwhelming for me. I got a few great things that I can't wait to use. I did spend way too much $$! Still feeling bad about that. Over all though I had a great time. I'm looking forward to CKC Seattle! I hope I'm able to sell a few things a craft fairs this summer to afford it! :)

Well technically it's later today, but either way I'm just so excited!!! This will be my fist scrapbooking convention and I'm volunteering to boot! When you do that you get $30 per shift. So I'm getting $90 in vouchers! My MIL is actually flying into town so she can watch Simon while I'm off having fun. Isn't she great! I should be packing up supplies and such but I'm so nervous I can't figure out what to take! LOL Anyway I better get to bed! Don't want to be all tired on the big day right?!? LOL

And we're off!!!

Well it's been two weeks since I set this thing up! I guess I should actually put something on here eh? LOL Here goes! Ummmmm okay so for a person that never shuts up, I can't think of anything to write about! Okay I'll tell you about what Simon did this week! He tried to eat a slug! That's right folks! I said a slug! I know totally gross huh? I didn't even know he had it. The weather has been really nice here and so we were outside playing in the front yard. Simon is forever picking up rocks to show me how cool they are. So when he said "Mamma yook", I assumed it was a rock. I kinda glanced over and was like "uh huh!". Then I looked over a minute later and he had something in his mouth. now this is not unusual for him. He still puts everything in his mouth! So I tell him to spit it out and he does the goes "yuck"! I start walking over to him lecturing about how "I know it's yuck and that's why we don't put things in our mouths that are on the ground". then I notice that what I thought was a rock was moving! I had to do the full hand, face and teeth scrubbing treatment after that one. Still gives me the willies. On the scrapin' front I am making headway on my cards for the Easter swap. They are turning out pretty cute! I decided to go a bit more simple after my Valentines fiasco. Just so you know hand stitching 24 cards is not easy! LOL I think that's it for now.
